In this episode, we talk about one of my favourite subjects – journaling and using it as a tool for growth and this episode’s guest, Katie Daleabbout actually wrote a book on the subject, Let it Out: A Journey Through Journaling. The book was published in 2016 and during our conversation, Katie shared how journaling has helped her become more self-aware and bring more acceptance and balance to her life. We also talked about cultivating deeper friendships that support better emotional health.

About the guest-

Katie Dalebout is a writer, blogger, speaker, and podcaster. Her weekly interview show that began in 2013 now has over 300 episodes with 4 million downloads. In 2019 she started Spiraling, a co-hosted show about mental health. She now runs an online workshop from creatives called: In-Process, leads an online course for independent podcasters, and writes weekly newsletter. Katie has also struggled with body image issues and eating disorders, but through the awareness and acceptance she found through journaling, she has cultivated a happier, healthier life for herself.
