Lately, I have been sharing a lot of book recommendations on my social media and I have received a pretty good feedback. It seems that like me, all my reader and social media buddies are bent on reading all the awesome books within their lifetime. That’s actually one of my goals. On the day I die, I want to have the satisfaction of knowing that I consumed ever good book ever written.
In life as you go down new paths, it’s nice to have a mentor. Reading a book is like downloading 20-30 years of life experience. If you read more non-fiction than fiction, it’s like having a mentor guiding your choices. If you’re a fiction reader, life is just one adventure after another.
Mostly, I invest my time into non-fiction now, but for the first 22 years of my life, I have only read fiction. So, In this list of recommendations, you will find books of every kind. I have sectioned them off based on category and type.
This will save me having to create separate blog posts because I can’t see myself ever not recommending books that I love. If you would like for me to add reviews, let me know in the comments section. As I listed my favourites, the list kept growing. I made myself think of what I would recommend to someone if that person could read only one book – That was tough, you should try doing that. So, I watered down the list to the best of the best – Entertaining, Intriguing, and Mind-altering!
I had to take out most of the fiction titles so if you guys want fiction recommendations, let me know. I really do hope this list helps. Also, based on my list, if you want to recommend books to me, please, please do! I am always looking for good book recommendations.
Pick up any list of book recommendations, best-selling books, book of the month, yada, yada – you’ll find these books on it! So, grab a copy and get reading!
